SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing Antibody Rapid Test kit  is a lateral flowchromatographic test intended for qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to the RBD region in the spike protein of of SARS-COV-2 in human serum, plasma, whole blood.

The novel coronaviruses is a soluble protein secreted by adaptive immune response cells. It binds specifically to the Receptor-binging domain (RBD) of the virus, and thus blocks the Receptor binding domain to angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) on the surface of human cells. Through the above process, neutralizing antibodies can prevent the virus or its genetic material from entering the cell to proliferate, so as to prevent the virus from infecting cells, neutralize the virulence of the virus. 

Therefore, by detecting novel coronavirus neutralizing antibodies in the body, it could helps to assist diagnosis of infection, rehabilitation and the evaluation of the effect after vaccination.
